Throughout the year, the ERC collaborates with other community organizations. These collaborations take various forms from providing a children’s workshop at a large event or conducting a series of classes to a small group of children or adults.
Many of these programs are not planned in advance, but are provided on an “as-needed” basis by the ERC as we are the “go-to” resource for a wide variety of hands-on environmental education programs. We work with groups like the Wood River YMCA, Community Library, Hailey Public Library, Blaine County Recreation District, and many others.
Our Wild Lunch program is a great example of an ongoing ERC collaboration with The Hunger Coalition.
