Business Sponsorship Opportunities
To celebrate our 25th year, the ERC has several tax-deductible sponsorship opportunities we hope you will consider in 2018.
Community-wide cleanup effort where hundreds of volunteers of all-ages come together to keep our valley healthy and beautiful. This year, our 24th annual Clean Sweep is scheduled for Saturday, May 5 from 9am-1pm.
Street party celebrating the ERC and the local environment. Drinks, bites, dancing, and lawn games are the highlight of this family-friendly event. This year, our 2nd annual Street Party for the Planet is scheduled for Saturday, June 9 from 5-8pm.
The ERC will host a collection of films that inspire viewers to connect with our environment, understand the challenges we currently face, and take action take to protect it. The Film Festival is scheduled for the evening of Thursday, November 8 at the Sun Valley Opera House.
This program, in collaboration with the Forest Service, BLM, Blaine County Recreation District, and other user groups lessens the aesthetic, environmental, and health impacts of unattended dog waste at local trails. Educational signage, weekly bin maintenance, and free dog waste bags are provided to 16 popular trailheads valley-wide.
Sponsor one of the following PUP bins at $2,500 for two years with a $1,000/year renewal rate. Sponsorship includes customizable signage that says “Supported by [your business name!]” and covers the following costs: new bin, sponsorship signage, educational outreach, bags, and weekly servicing of the bin.
Available trailheads include (north to south):
- Chocolate Gulch
- Lake Creek East
- Taylor Canyon
- Adam’s Gulch
- Quigley Canyon

Send a Kid to Camp
Every summer, the ERC offers two weeks of overnight camp for rising 5th-6th and 7th-9th grade students. Campers are fully immersed in our natural world and engage in hands-on activities that connect them to nature and give them the passion, tools, and confidence to become our future environmental leaders. Every year, the ERC receives requests for over $3,000 in financial aid.
- $600 sends one kid to camp!
This year, the ERC financially and programmatically supported the Wood River Middle School’s 44th annual Residential Outdoor Environmental School (ROES) overnight camp that reaches nearly every 6th grade student. Help us ensure this opportunity continues into the future.
None of the above options interest you or fit your needs? Consider joining the ERC at the $100 business level. You will be recognized on the ERC website and in our annual report.
Each tax-deductible sponsorship dollar you give goes directly into initiatives that ensure the health and well-being of the environment and community that we love, now and into the future. Every gift matters, so please consider supporting the ERC this season and helping to ensure our work continues for another 25 years!
