The Environmental Resource Center will once again offer SAS! Science After School for the 2012-2013 school year! We will offer programs at all four elementary schools, plus Wood River Middle School. Registration is open for all sessions of the program; please call our office at 208.726.4333 for more information. And good news – it’s FREE! We created SAS! to provide opportunities beyond the school day for students to participate in project-based learning, within the context of natural science, the environment, and sustainability issues. We will be mindful of the BCSD curriculum standards , and work to incorporate these, as appropriate, into the curriculum. We will build opportunities for participants to explore science through games, art, journaling, observation, exploration, service learning, and scientific research. SAS!
