The Environmental Resource Center will once again offer SAS! Science After School for the 2012-2013 school year! We will offer programs at all four elementary schools, plus Wood River Middle School. Registration is open for all sessions of the program; please call our office at 208.726.4333 for more information. And good news – it’s FREE!
We created SAS! to provide opportunities beyond the school day for students to participate in project-based learning, within the context of natural science, the environment, and sustainability issues. We will be mindful of the BCSD curriculum standards , and work to incorporate these, as appropriate, into the curriculum. We will build opportunities for participants to explore science through games, art, journaling, observation, exploration, service learning, and scientific research.
