Each summer we rent the Central Idaho 4-H Camp to serve as the base for our overnight programs. There is a main lodge with a huge fireplace, the dining hall, and upstairs classrooms (and an amazing, eclectic collection of couches!), a bathhouse with separate facilities for ladies and gentlemen, a collection of one-room cabins (each sleeps 8-12 in bunk beds), a ball court, a wonderful fire circle, and plenty of room to explore. See the pictures, and then scroll down for a map. If you've lost your list of what to bring (and what not to bring) to EcoCamp, click here and then scroll to the very bottom of that page. Directions to EcoCamp
From Hailey/Ketchum and South:
Take Highway 75 north. Drive through Hailey and Ketchum. Continue north on this road for approximately 17 miles. You will pass the SNRA headquarters, the Cathedral Pines camp, and the Easley Hot Springs. The entrance to camp is on the left side of the road, marked by a “Central Idaho 4H Camp” sign. (If you reach Prairie Creek or Billy’s Bridge, you’ve gone too far.) Turn left onto the dirt road and continue for approximately 2 miles. The road dead-ends at the dining hall. From Stanley and North:
Take Highway 75 south. You will go over Galena Pass and past Galena Lodge. The entrance to camp is on the right side of the road, marked by a “Central Idaho 4H Camp” sign. Turn right onto the dirt road and continue for approximately 2 miles. The road dead-ends at the dining hall.
