| 9th Graders will explore the ways in which animals use habitat in winter Posted on December 29, 2010by Lisa Huttinger This February, we will spend a week with each of The Community School’s 9th grade science classes exploring animals in winter. The program will culminate in a field study of animal habitat use (which the students will design). To prepare for this work, we will be teaching the students basics of animal tracking, field study design, and community ecology. Thank you to Hannes Thum for inviting us into his classroom! |
