Thank you to everyone who donated tents for Haiti. The tents are on their way now. In case you missed this great effort, the ERC joined with the American Alpine Club’s efforts to collect tents and shelter for Haitians left homeless by January’s earthquakes. The AAC identified the greatest immediate need as shelter and was requesting tent donations.
Imagine being in the midst of chaos in the aftermath of multiple devastating earthquakes.......

Two counties and five towns pooled their efforts to apply for a $700,000 Idaho grant that would finance energy-reduction measures sweeping throughout the area.
Hailey Treasurer Becky Stokes said the collaboration marks the first of its kind and would benefit all governments involved.

The Valley's leading newspaper, Idaho Mountain Express, independently surveyed over 1100 locals to find out what's "best" here in the Wood River Valley.
The Environmental Resource Center is honored to have been chosen the Best Green Organization by you. The "Best of" edition of the Sun Valley Guide will be on stands in August, and the ERC will continue its work in helping our community be the greenest, most sustainable community we can be.
