EcoCamp

EcoCamp 2020 has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. Safety is always the top priority at EcoCamp. Due to the nature of EcoCamp, a remote, natural, close-knit, camping experience with no running water we are unable to offer campers or staff a safe place at camp during this global pandemic.

Read the full message to parents from ERC staff and board here. Watch this video with your camper regarding our decision. Questions? Contact alisa@ercsv.org or 208-726-4333.

In 2020, EcoCamp, would have entered its 15th year and is one of the ERC’s longest running youth programs. Each summer, the ERC offers two overnight EcoCamps: one for rising 5th-6th grade students and and one for rising 7th-9th grade students. Both of these camps take place at the Galena Lodge yurts, 23 miles north of Ketchum, sandwiched between the Boulder Mountains and Smoky Mountains.

EcoCamp provides the opportunity for campers to spend a week full of FUN in Idaho’s natural world. Camps are designed to give campers the confidence, skills and tools necessary to become better stewards of the environment while developing a passion and appreciation for wild places.
