EcoCamp
This summer, the ERC is offering two sessions of overnight EcoCamps: One for rising 5th-6th grade students; and one for rising 7th-9th grade students.
EcoCamp provides the opportunity for campers to spend a week full of FUN in Idaho’s natural world. Our environmental education and action camps are designed to give campers the confidence, skills, and tools necessary to work toward environmental renewal while recreating; and developing a passion and appreciation for wild places.
The ERC is committed to providing quality environmental education programs to a wide range of participants. Our voluntary pricing structure offers three tiers based on your family’s needs. The price you choose is confidential and does not affect the quality of the camper’s experience.
Rate A is the most affordable rate. This rate only partially represents our costs for operating camp and is subsidized through generous donations, and grants. We provide this rate in an effort to keep camp affordable for all campers.
Rate B is partially subsidized by grants and donors. If feasible for you, it allows an option for a slight discount so that campers can attend while helping us to better cover some of the costs of camp.
Rate C more closely represents the actual cost of ECO camp operations. Choosing this rate enables us to make the most of our scholarship funds so that others may benefit from learning at camp for years to come.
Scholarships: We love connecting people to nature! It is through the belief that our planet and future generations benefit from the environmental education provided in the programs that we grow.
