The ERC will be offering its FREE Science After School (SAS) program once again at Alturas Elementary School this winter. This 6-week program will occur on Tuesdays, January 16-February 20, 2018 from 2:15-4:00 PM.

Science After School provides 4th & 5th grade students opportunities beyond the school day to participate in project-based learning, within the context of natural science, the environment, and sustainability issues. We build opportunities for the students to explore science through scientific research, exploration, observation, collaboration, games, art, journaling, and service learning.

All materials including snacks are provided! Year after year, participating students remark that the highlights of Science After School are the opportunities to go outside and explore, learning about animals in winter and doing science with their friends after school. We hope your student can join us for our explorations this year!
